The Scottish Finance Secretary, Kate Forbes, has extended the Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Aviation Relief for another year with effect from 1 April 2021. This is great news if your business is located in Scotland and sits in either Retail, Hospitality, Leisure or Aviation sectors because you will receive 100% relief for another 12 months. This move also puts pressure on Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, for him to follow suit in his March 2021 Budget although it is doubtful as to whether Mr Sunak will extend the current RHL Relief to the Aviation sector.
